The Blom’s wanted to update the appearance of their 30-year-old home, while also gaining energy efficiency at the same time. They also had concerns about water infiltration through the original stucco and stone. As the photos show, their concerns were well-merited as we found significant structural damage in this stucco remediation project. As part of our stucco remediation process, Eby Exteriors removed all the water-damaged wall panels and framing members, properly replaced them (and insulation as necessary), and then installed a new moisture barrier PRIOR to installing any of the new exterior products.

As the photos also show, we were able to help the Blom’s re-design the front of their home to give it a beautiful new look! Please note the combination of colors, lines, and textures as well as the eye-popping dark mortar in the stone. We also removed the arched transom over the front door and rebuilt that section to provide a more modern look. The new windows and doors, coupled with new insulated siding, significantly improved the energy efficiency of the front of the home. And finally, the quality of the products we specced, coupled with the expert installation by our Eby Exteriors craftsmen, means that not only does this home look great, but it will stand the test of time.
