The wooden decking and railing on this deck in Lancaster were showing their age and beginning to rot out. The existing frame was mostly in good shape, however. The homeowners wanted something that required little to no maintenance, and something that added some style to their secluded deck on their wooded lot. They chose Eby Exteriors to remove and dispose of the existing decking/railing and install some beautiful new products!
Eby Exteriors helped them select the composite decking and the vertically-cabled railing which allows for a very open feel, tying the deck to the nearby trees and foliage. The lighting adds a beautiful touch for evenings on the deck. We also recommended the diamond design that we built into the main section of the deck. This added some aesthetic beauty and also allowed for the deck to be installed without any butt joints in the decking. Finally, Eby Exteriors replaced one post that was rotted at the base and add bracing/blocking to the deck to add more stability to the structure and eliminate swaying.
