After working with Eby Exteriors on a prior kitchen remodel, this Lancaster family of four chose to expand their beloved two-bedroom home rather than move. Eby added a first-floor master suite where a patio once stood, installing sleepers over an underground cistern to align the new addition with the main house.
The 14’x16’ bedroom features an exposed stone wall from the original 1940s home, with a filled-in window seamlessly disguised. The master bath includes a quartz-top double vanity, walk-in shower, and large closet.
Exterior upgrades feature matching vertical board-and-batten siding, new shutters, and a sleek black entry door. The project also included new ProVia windows and an energy-efficient mini-split HVAC system, blending comfort, character, and modern design.
