This kitchen renovation in Ephrata shows how even small spaces can achieve big transformations. Originally built in the early 2000s, the kitchen featured a two-tiered peninsula that divided the open layout. Eby’s team redesigned the space with a single-level, expanded countertop to improve function and create more seating.
Because the homeowners love to cook, the project also included a vented oven hood, requiring new HVAC routing, and the microwave was moved to free up additional prep space. A custom backsplash now highlights an 18×12 tile artwork framed by rustic white tile, pairing beautifully with marble counters and gold-accented cabinetry.
The old corner sink was replaced with a deep farmhouse sink accessible from both sides of the island. Finally, new light-toned luxury vinyl flooring connects the kitchen, living room, and entryway, enhancing the home’s airy, sunlit feel.
